El Silencio que grita is a compilation of poems written by inmates of a maximum security prison in Buenos Aires, as part of a literature workshop held there, with the aim of giving them access to culture and the means of artistic expression. J. M. Coetzee participated in this workshop and later wrote the preface to the book. The book was launched as part of the LEFFEST - Lisbon & Sintra Film Festival 2021, taking advantage of the presence of J. M. Coetzee as president of the festival's jury.
I did the design and layout in collaboration with French designer Zana Riazi. I'm extremely happy to participate in such a meaninful project.
