In a dystopian world where memory has been erased and conformity is enforced, David, a curious and defiant child, arrives as a refugee with his guardian, Simón, and confronts a society that represses individuality. As David challenges the system, Simón and Inés, his presumed mother, grapple with the complexities of parenthood in order to protect him. The film explores the search for identity, the importance of memory, and the fears of contemporary life.
