International film poster for the documentary "Girls for Tomorrow" by Nora Philippe.
In 2015, with a baby in her arms, director Nora Philippe arrives in New York and discovers Barnard prestigious women’s college, in search of allies to renegotiate motherhood and feminism, and to think about the world in which her daughter will grow up.
She meets Evy, Lila, Anta and Talia, four committed students who embark with her on an intimate and political journey. Grappling with a decade of American history, marked by the Trump era, MeToo, Black Lives Matter and the climate crisis, they are 30 today and represent the faces of resistance.
