Visual identity for the film series celebrating the iconic Jacques Demy and the theatrical re-release of his films in restored digital copies. The campaign includes posters, brochures, and exclusive merchandise, with a focus on new posters for several of his timeless films such as "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and "Donkey Skin".


If there's one thing Demy and I have in common, it's a love for color. In his films, we find soft, pastel tones — blue, pink, lilac, yellow, and orange — which, according to him, when combined with music, “mask the true pessimism of the words.” A harmony between visual beauty and emotional depth that I’ve tried to capture in the identity of this program.
