In this project, I sought to graphically translate the theatrical and creative dimension of Filipe La Féria — an undeniable figure in Portuguese theatre — through a monumental and expressive typography that reflects both the historical weight and the energy of his legacy.
Acknowledging Filipe La Féria’s undeniable role in the history of Portuguese theatre, and unfolding across the many spaces of Teatro Politeama — an emblematic venue in Lisbon, now inseparable from La Féria — this documentary seeks to portray the thought that guides his creative process. Capturing a legacy that suggests theatre is, so often, passion, a leap into the abyss, religion, and an act of faith.
