Key art and DVD packaging for the film and TV mini-series 'Moral Order' by Mário Barroso. The artwork explores the fragility of the condition of women at a time when fighting for their rights and freedom had, most of the times, painful and morally devastating consequences.

Based on a true story, Moral Order delves into the patriarchal society of the early 20th century. It tells a well-known and public story in Portugal: in 1918, Maria Adelaide Coelho da Cunha, heiress and owner of an important Portuguese newspaper, abandoned the social, cultural and family luxury in which she lived to escape with an insignificant chauffeur, 26 years younger. As a consequence, she is deprived of her freedom, having to embark on a bureaucratic struggle for several years until, finally, regaining it again.
