Alternative poster for O Americano, a series by Ivo M. Ferreira. Some ideas make it to the end and others don't. This one is an alternative concept that I presented for O Americano. I went on to design the final poster, and I'm super happy with it, but this proposition stays close to my heart.
In the early 1980s, a criminal gang terrorized the Algarve, in the south of Portugal, committing over twenty bank robberies. The group was led by a man known as "the Doctor" and Faustino Cavaco, a carpenter nicknamed "The Cowboy." Faustino was captured, sentenced to eighteen years in prison, and later became the mastermind behind the bloodiest prison escape in Portuguese history.
