Design of the international poster for Un Anno di Scuola (A Year of School), directed by Laura Samani and selected for the 82nd Biennale di Venezia – Venice International Film Festival.
For this project, the design sought to capture the spirit of youth and the emotional intensity of the narrative, evoking a near-documentary feel and the intimate tone of the story.
September 2007. Fred moves from Sweden to Trieste with her father and enrols as the only girl in an all-male classroom in a technical high school. She soon draws the attention of three inseparable friends — the mysterious Antero, the flirtatious Pasini, and the gentle Mitis — disrupting their balance and testing their friendship. While each secretly desires her, Fred longs to be accepted into their circle. But to truly belong, she will have to make sacrifices.
