Poster design for The Boatman (O Barqueiro), the upcoming film by Simão Cayatte, that was showcased at the Marché du Film in Cannes.

Set on the tidal flats of the Tagus, The Boatman follows Joaquim, recently released from prison after sixteen years. Desperate to reconnect with his daughter and keep a promise from the past, he hides his release and takes on a perilous job: ferrying illegal clam-pickers to buy her the piano he once promised her.
