In 1922, Sacadura Cabral and Gago Coutinho accomplished one of the greatest feats in aviation history by completing the first-ever aerial crossing of the South Atlantic, connecting Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro. A historic achievement for global aviation, made possible despite the rudimentary aeronautical technology of the time, by two men driven by a strong spirit of adventure.
