The Domain tells the story of a family that owns one of the largest estates in Europe. It is about the decline of that family, of those lands and, above all, of the man that is the head of the family. A lonely but charismatic man, who manages his estate as a huge island within a country dominated by a fascist dictatorship.
In the poster, as in the film, the scenario works almost as a metaphor, both man and the earth begin grandiose, imperial, but as the events unfold, they reveal the imperfections, the gray areas, and both one and the other start to fall apart.
